Recreational Roller Derby League
This is our public page for friends, family, fans, admirer's, people hiding in our bushes or bored people who found it by accident. We are a recreational Roller Derby League located in Beaudesert, Qld. We currently have a group of ladies working towards one day hopefully reaching bouting level. We currently have very few men but we are open to all new comer's. We currently have no junior team. But expressions of interest are being taken.
We now hold a full committee comprising of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer. If you wish to contact any of these people please direct any enquiries via private message, email or on the below listed number.
The League initially started in 2012 shortly after the opening of The Beaudesert Roller Dome thanks in part to Jamie Lee Currie and the Johnson family. The rink acts as our home and is our training space. The Beaudesert RollerDome continues to be one of our biggest supporters.
Our Team colors are blue, orange and black and we generally refer to ourselves as Desert Storm.
We are proud to support many local business's who in turn support us and are proud to be a part of a great local community here in Beaudesert.
We are located at Beaudesert Roller Dome. Training is on Monday nights on the floor warming up at 6:30pm.
We also have a general skills session on Wednesday's at 7pm.
If you are interested in coming down and checking us out we would love to have you. Never fear if you are unsure of or have no skating experience ! We all have to start somewhere and Saturdays would be the session for you !
